This species is characterized by bright blue legs and elongated claws, similar in appearance but not as large as the claws of ‘Hoa Creek’ or ‘Blue Moon’ types. The claws of large males are variable in color. Some are pink, others may be orangeish, purple, bluish or greenish. Adult males can rank among the most beautiful of crayfish. Imported females are few compared to males. Up to 4 inches.
