Orange tip lobster (Cherax sp. ‘ Orange tip’)

                                                                                        With a rich dark brown shiny shell and bright orange tipped claws, these crayfish remind us of Halloween. They rank among the most beautiful species and are always in high demand. However, for us, they have proven the most cannibalism- and mutilation-prone of all species, whether kept in pairs of in groups. Word is that these are related to the apricot lobster. They grow up to 4 inches and easy to care for when kept singly.
